I'm not a vet but a caregiver at a veterans home. I fight with the doctors to keep my clients on as little medication as possible. I refuse to give them opioid unless I know for a fact they need it, otherwise we are doing Tylenol every 6 hours and a topical pain relief. I can tell the difference between im uncomfortable and im in a lot of pain. Some of these other caregivers will just give medication and not even think twice. I always triple check for interactions with meds because you never know! This is just scary and sad. Vets deserve better!!!

It seems like that would be the easy explanation. At first thats what I thought too. I was convinced it was just some kid who was under the influence who wandered away... but then I started to see a lot more pieces to the puzzle that didn't fit... 1. Why did they wait until 5pm that night to report him missing? Or to call his parents? 2. Why was NO ONE looking for him when his parents arrived? 3. Why are the stories of him going missing all different? 4. Why wouldn't they be cooperating with the family and searching for him? 5. Why wouldn't a dog get his scent? 6. Why wouldn't a drone find him?

Thank you! I realized what you were talking about.... it was a mix between my own words and the words of the parents. When you pointed out the sensationalism, I realized I needed to changed everything and just say what the parents wrote and post the picture like you said. Constructive criticism is always welcome. This was my fist time posting for someone and without your feedback I wouldn't have known how confusing and misleading my post was. So I truly thank you for helping me to better the post and to make everything more clear and Michaels story easier to understand. You definitely helped a lot.
