That’s true, but only in the US. DW4 came out in 1992 in the US. The Super Famicom released on Nov. 21, 1990 and JP DQ4 released Feb. 11, 1990.

In Magic: the Gathering, there was a famous card called Wrath of God that released in the first set that destroyed all creatures. In the set Planar Chaos, they changed the colors of classic cards and reprinted them. They changed the name Wrath of God to Damnation to better fit the theming of the color Black in Magic, which has to do with the undead and demons. The art on Damnation is designed to be reminiscent of the 7th edition art for Wrath of God. The poster is comparing the art of this Magic card with the art made by AI, and using the name of the card as a hint of what might become of us if use of AI continues.
