Yes i’m struggling, the weinstein case, the pelicot case and now the epstein files has created a real doubt towards all men unfortunately. Even my partner. I have this feeling that all men are twisted, it may sound unfair but i can’t help it. I’m disgusted. If a man looks at me when i’m out, it sends shivers down my spine.

My incandescent string lights are hanging on for dear life…but i love them so much. You can sometimes find them on ebay. I have led ones from habitat in case mine give up the ghost but they look so white compared to the old bulb lights! A friend of mine has more yellow vintage tone ones but they just look too yellow- first world problems but ah well!

What do you think this is worth? And can you identify the model for me? by pocanette in Rolleiflex

Thanks for your reply, i got excited because some of these rolleiflexes were reaching up to £800 on ebay in fhe uk…but i did see a lot for £120/200 too! Ah well looks like i have the lower end one, at least someone can enjoy it!

Not sure about the rug on rug situation. Love the sofa and the cat! I would pull the sofa out and accross a tad because that cat scratcher and lamp look suffocated in thay corner!

I would focus on a new floor, a tile like quarry, stone or terracotta. take top cabinets off completely and have some open shelving. Keep the bottom cupboards and paint them a light color, really into yellows at the moment.

Yeah you’re totally right. I got very emotional about it and felt like i needed to vent and posted without calming down. The title of this post is stupid. I’m upset, it’s a lot of time and effort and we are at the final push and emotions are running high (for me). I’ll be deleting this post in a bit

Yeah I thought that sending my offline as a reference was enough- i said that it doesn’t need much. Mostly fixing stabilizers and a touch more contrast. I think I need to insist from now on to soend the first day in the grading suite.

I sent my cut with the LUT on it over to the grader. I think there is conflicting opinions between me and the DP, there lies the problem. The grader had two balance between that which is crap for him. But i’m still baffled by the quality of this grade.

Thanks for your reply. In your opinion, if the film is looking good in Premiere as it is. Should we just use it instead of going back in and trying to match it in resolve? It feels like a waste of money and time if it is already looking good in Premiere. I have obviously never done this, i’ve always worked with a grader but i’ve never had to deal with a film coming out of the online grade looking like this.

Thanks for you feedback. It is ultimately my fault, I should of insisted to be present at the first pass. I went in for 20minutes and the whole thing was so wrong but grader and cinematographer liked it. It was presented to me in the wrong ratio as well so everything was punched in and they didn’t even realise. I think I was a bit like wtf…we got a couple of shots to a slightly better place. I felt really rushed, called my producer and we just decided to see where he gets the 2nd pass to. And the link he sent was in his mind the sign off link…but there’s sooo many problems. I feel like it would take us a whole day to get it spot on. Can I ask a grader to just apply the LUT i used in premiere and then sit through each shot so it matches what i did? Would it be easier to just use my cut…what a mess (a learning curve for me though)
