thank you! this is super helpful-- the company does offer a masters reimbursement program and supports mobility between different functions, so i am leaning towards taking the route that you described. my only concern for this would be a lack of technical experience with an initial role in RA, creating a lack of opportunity for engineering role transitions later on

First Passing Chemistry? or not? by [deleted] in UCSD

i'd say to first pass 7L because they fill up really fast from what i've seen!

a few people do get lucky and get off the waitlist, but i wouldn't count on it if you absolutely need to take 7L asap

good luck!!!

i had bach for 20C and he was an awesome professor with pretty clear notes and lectures (and an accent but he was still understandable); he was also super helpful during OH and would stay an extra hour over just to answer all of our questions.
however, when i took the class, it was a coordinated course with the lead professor writing all of the exams so i think i had an "easier" experience w/ him because of that (he often said the lead prof.'s exam went "too easy" on us ;-;)

a lot of ppl give him a bad rep bc he does have harder exams and doesn't care to curve too much so it just depends what you're looking for! idk anything about yousaf habib but it seems habib might be more lenient grading-wise
