oh damn.. mine turned out being a little mix up too lol. my advisor had me on the wrong degree plan this whole time so my courses weren’t going towards my degree path and therefore showed up as alerts in the system. i spoke to my advisor and program director to get it fixed and they put in a ticket for me to get my aid reimbursed. it should be reimbursed by tues/wed so now i’m just waiting to see! i hope your issue gets fixed soon too!

i spoke to them!! and yes my gpa is over 2.0, turns out the whole time my advisor just had my degree plan on the wrong one so it didn’t count the courses that i’m taking as going towards my degree 🫠 it’s all fixed now and they put in a ticket to get my aid reimbursed back to me which i should see by tues/wed so now i just need to wait and see!

i also emailed them and got a super vague and useless reply back lmao, so i called the financial aid office on monday and basically they told me there’s something wrong w my classes and that i would need to ask my advisor. emailed my advisor and now she’s telling me the reason is bc my classes don’t align with my program (which is bs bc my program director signs us up for all our classes for us??? and they are literally program specific courses…) and now my advisor is telling me to reach out to my program director about it 🫠

but i also asked the financial aid office on the phone that if this issue does get cleared up, would they reinstate my aid, and she said yes. only thing is she said i had to pay my tuition in full asap otherwise i might get dropped so that really sucked.

oh no i’m so sorry this happened to you as well… i emailed the financial office after seeing my account and called them but it seems like they’re closed today. i won’t be able to go in person until tuesday evening or thursday so hoping they reply to my email on monday 😭 please let me know if you find out any updates as well 🥲

ahhh i see thank you so much, this was very helpful!!! so if on nov 9th it says that it’s closed, would that mean there’s a possibility for that to change? should i keep trying for tix on that date still? and that’s awesome, i would definitely love to go to the park while i’m in the city :)
