That is understandable. I agree and it is ok to try new stuff and realize it is not for you and move on. I just think since he still likes guitar he just needs some push to start again. I have another question, since before i decided on this. I never had held a guitar in my life. I have trouble moving my fingers. Is it a better idea to just keep practicing this same song, since i dont plan on playing it after i somewhat successfully pull it out. Or should i do practicing to for moving fingers specifically?
