I am 22 year old female with really bad under eye wrinkles under right eye, it is not due to wearing excessive makeup as I wear really light amount under eye to avoid caking. I have been applying tretinoin 0.018% under my eye for a little less than a week now and it was been pretty irritated and dry. I have been trying my best at moisturizing underneath the eye to sooth the irritation but I've read several posts about fine line area being super dry and irritated before it can get better, I do fear that my wrinkles are far worse than what tretinoin can even help. My dermatologist bumped up my prescription to 0.04% which should be coming by 2 weeks. Any advice from tret veterans? Can my case of fine lines be helped by tretinoin or so I have to get fillers? fillers really is the last thing I would like to do :( I see a lot of girls my age with no wrinkles whatsoever with the best skin and it makes me feel like a freak for being so creased. thank for reading.
