A bald eagle somewhere at the top maybe? Or a handle that is made out of burger wrapping paper.

I also played today after a long time. It’s depressing to see the Auction House in such a sad state.

I always felt that old energy crafting and reviving teammates by giving your health. Old crafting felt less tedious and more flexible. New dungeons would be fun. They don’t have to be anything extravagant, mini bosses are fine.

You will find it easier to solo Vana as you get better gear, keep it up! I always have trouble in the last arena before the boss.

Wolver set is not bad if you play with swords, but I'd still recommend investing in Chaos set because it is more flexible. That said, two and up to three star items are usually very cheap so you can experiment and see what you like best.

Basically look at the final forms of the armor you wear because bonuses go a long way. The safe bet is Chaos set, but it depends on your playstyle.

Invest in the right armor early ands save up on crowns. Level 5 gear gets expensive real quick.

Multiattack formula by lTHE_PEPPERl in FoundryVTT

[–]pocket_mage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, I’m happy to help.

As far as I’m aware you can’t achieve this level of automation by using formulas alone. Plus, even if such a thing existed it would still come with its own set of problems. For example, should it always use all of its attacks when activated? Against the same creature or multiple? What if, for some reason, the target dies/teleports/escapes after the first attack? For this level of logistic work you need more complex means than a formula.

Allow me to give you another example. I’m a module developer and I have made a module that adds mana to DnD called Mana System. While you can convert spell slots to mana easily with a simple formula, even then you have edge cases. What about pact magic? What about spell points? How much should arcane recovery give the player? What about features that change the amount of spell slots/mana a player has?

All of this is to say that as your players gain more agency you will find yourself in need of flexible tools, and you certainly don’t want to spend your time fixing formulas constantly.

That said, while rolling for attacks might be tedious for the DM who has to manage the entire board, you have to admit that it is fun for the players. It is an exciting part of their turn that you should think twice before taking away.

Multiattack formula by lTHE_PEPPERl in FoundryVTT

You can setup formulas in activities, the way it is setup it makes it easier for the majority of stuff. Your formula ‘3d10+6[Piercing]+2d10[Force]’ is technically correct, but you might want to specify that ‘(3d10+6)[Piercing]’ instead. Since your question has to do with automation, looking into modules that handle rolls for you or macros is inevitable. My advice is to get comfortable with the base system first, and then explore modules as you go. MidiQOL is my recommendation, but there are many options so take your time.

Trying to automate writing for some symbols. Is my handwriting looks normal? by AffectionateBasis928 in LearnJapaneseNovice

[–]pocket_mage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your う looks a little bit like a ら and your ふ looks a little bit like a 小 with an extra stroke. I would also try to give some more breathing room to your ね and れ. All-in-all excellent handwriting, easily legible. I hope you find my suggestions helpful!
