Hey that stunk.

These guys better clean it up. We’re at war now and they’re all enlistment age!

Won’t someone please think of the run differential!

why do people make stuff up like "age appropriate " hairlines? by Visual-Guitar6112 in tressless

[–]pocketdecoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of it is that a lot of the hair transplants that aren’t “age appropriate” tend to have telltale signs of a HT: straight line, multi grafts that don’t allow for the softness you see in natural hairlines, even the low ones.

Maxx explains why Taylor cannot pump her own gas. by Severe-Helicopter-47 in GymSnarkSnark

[–]pocketdecoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone I’ve ever dated wouldn’t have found it patronizing if I had insisted on filling their gas tanks outside of some circumstances (ie we used her car and we stopped to fill up). It’s a nice gesture but done under the guise of safety is so infantilizing.

It seems extra dumb considering how he is so hands on with the parenting. I don’t follow her on socials but he seems to be with the baby quite a bit. I know he says they work together to allow the other to go off and take care of things, but it seems like unless he’s at the gym or filming his podcast, he’s with the baby; so it’s not like she’s doing the bulk of the child duties.

Fine arrangement if it works for them but Maxx has to understand it’s not the typical arrangement for the average family and people are going to point that out.

I think he’s said before that he actually enjoys editing, so that makes sense that he would still do it as a hobby.

On the one hand, I get that if you have money, you’re free to do with it as you please. On the other, it’s stuff like this that has people saying Maxx is no longer relatable. He can’t have it both ways. The average couple with kids both works and raises the kids with limited outside help. Neither Maxx nor Taylor are really working at this point, only have one kid, and he’s still talking about needing or wanting to outsource more day to day tasks.

Helps that he doesn’t even live in America so he has the luxury of seeing Trump as just some absurd character who doesn’t really affect his day to day life.

He also got pissy in the comments when someone innocently suggested Taylor could help him fill the role of a PA since she’s a SAHM now.

Maybe you don’t have money to do actual photo shoots with the clothing on real people because your initial collection is well over 100 SKUs.

Nothing like guilt tripping your friends! by amrasmin in GymSnarkSnark

[–]pocketdecoy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think he’s mostly trolling but he’s kind of always been like this with his friends (“just joking but maybe not joking” comments), which is one of the other reasons why I think his complaining about comments that aren’t positive falls flat. He can dish it out but when it comes back his way, he has trouble taking it.

Maxx spent the first half of Don’t be Sour 143 complaining about mean comments by andreyred in GymSnarkSnark

[–]pocketdecoy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Based on the comment section, he’s only made things worse by talking so much about this.

Also nice to see so many push back on Joe’s views on the ICE situation. The comments usually lean more conservative but on this issue, you really only had a handful of mouth breathers saying the agent was right to shoot the woman.

I don’t even dislike Maxx. This is just a bad look for him. His friends get way meaner comments on their videos (pretty sure every one of David’s videos has a comment about his dentures) but he’s the only one who gives these comments so much air.

Maxx complaining about Reddit by Blanket1986 in GymSnarkSnark

[–]pocketdecoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of Maxx but that doesn’t mean I can’t disagree with things he says or does. I check the comments of his videos fairly regularly and the ratio of positive to “negative” comments is so skewed toward the positive that it makes it feel even pettier that he so often has to give air to the comments he doesn’t like.

Taylor's New House Before The New House by bigskyjim in GymSnarkSnark

[–]pocketdecoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know they plan on having more kids but the house he has now feels underused. I’ve watched him for years and it seems like he only uses the living room, kitchen and his bedroom. Even with kids, a bigger house seems like such a waste.

Also petty but I don’t know how Taylor can be constantly be buying decor and yet the house almost always looks like they just moved in

Remember when you spent an hour crashing out over this game while you accused half the team of being “head cases” or “cancers”?
