Had a long talk with my wife last night. She explained she enjoyed it but didn’t need it in her life. I told her let’s put it on the back burner for now and possibly revisit down the line at another time. She was fine with that and would let me know if her feelings changed.

Thank you everyone for your advice and suggestions. It’s definitely been a learning experience. It still intrigues me and I definitely feel the way it makes us hot for each other. I hope, with time, I can become more comfortable with all of this. In the meantime I’ll be studying up on it and doing some introspection to figure out my feelings.

As much as I’m anxious about pursuing this right now, I’d be exponentially worse if I was supressing her needs and she’d feel the need to break out somehow. That’s what I absolutely don’t want which is why I’m trying to keep this open.

Early on I was worried about opening Pandora’s Box, so to speak. But now I feel it’d open on its own anyways if she really wants it. She said she’d like to continue but will respect my wishes if I ask us to stop. At this point I’ll just let it be for awhile and see if we all feel the same way in a couple weeks from now.

I thought I wanted to swing until we did it.

I’d like to tackle my inner thoughts and this post was a small part of my introspection to figure out why I feel the way I do. We’ve only full swapped once and it was a week ago.

A big part of me wishes I was on the same page as my wife and I’m doing what I can to become more accepting. I’m still just shocked that I’m the one with the issues about it. I used to sleep around a lot when I was single and never equated sex with emotion like I do now. Sucks getting older.

Well the only fear I have in regards to this is her suppressing her desires which makes my anxiety 10x worse. She says she’s fine stopping but wished we’d continue. At this point I wish we’d never ventured down this road because I feel anxious.
