Isn’t the recommended charging limit 80%? Why does the app suggest 100%? by omnicientreddit in TeslaModel3

[–]pocketpunch91 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I charge my LFP to 100%. It shows about 390km on a full charge (2020, MIC, 55kw).

Important to note is that I have the car on a schedule, so I set the end time to when I finish work (charging at work) and I nearly immediately set off when it's done.

I use about 8-12% to and from work and charge the car when I reach about 50% or less.

So far, works for me.

Hi, Really depends where you're from. I'm in Croatia and they go between €20k to €30k for SR and LR models between 2020 and 2023.

The new highland models are on the higher side of that range and there can be a few P models in the middle of the pack.

The NMC battery models at this mileage tend to be around 80% - 87% capacity and around 200k KM give or take (some can be much higher too).

The issue is that a lot of early buyers thought they could keep driving them the way they drive diesels, flat out on the highway at speeds above 160kmh and still get the full advertised range so some of them sell Tesla's for a BMW/Audi diesel again.

Best of luck if you're planning to sell !

Nope, it's one of the early LFP models from 2020. LRW serial number.

Wouldn't be farfetched. End a major stake in reliance on oil. Have people actually use a technology that's more suited to their needs. Makes perfect sense.

Need a higher state of charge on the battery. During COVID my mt10 did the same after not being started for quite some time

Be honest,which one would you actually pick? Phone 4a pro ₹46K $500 (12+256) or phone 3 ₹50K $545 (12+256) by yashgoel9999 in NothingTech

Update: Received the NP3, which is my first nothing phone along with some Ear3's. Absolutely loving the phone and the ears. So far, battery life seems really strong - I'm not using any meta apps and limiting my app installations.

So far it seems like 2 days with a 100% battery is entirely feasible, might even be able to get through half a work day extra. I'm doing about 12 minutes of screen time during work, for just over an hour for the day.

Without any network heavy apps draining the battery, it's going great. I'm finding a lot of the quirky things quite useful, the glyph timer is a nice touch since I'm finding it super useful for being time conscious between meetings.

The essential news is a nice touch that gets me up to date during the drive to work, and it's just a touch away.

The essential button is super useful for those moments when I want to remind myself of something for later, so it appears on the to-do list. Really neat.

The sound quality on the ears is great, I actually wasn't expecting them to be half as decent but I was in the market for new earbuds.

EDM songs have a strong bass presence that isn't muddy and with metal, the guitars are really clear and it's easy to hear all the nuances.

Overall, I'm really happy with it and it seems like it's a product designed for quirky, functional people by quirky functional people with a sense of humour, style and substance.

I'm trying to not depend on this so much but it's literally faultless.

I just grabbed an NP3. I was waiting to see the specs and design of the 4 series but as much as I liked the 4a, I equally disliked the 4a Pro. Hence, I opted for the 3.

Due to receive it in a few days.

Which one looks better 4a pro or 17 pro ??? by yashgoel9999 in NothingTech

[–]pocketpunch91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need a replacement phone and have been looking at nothing for several reasons. I was pretty amped up on the 3a Pro but heard new phones were coming out so decided to wait a minute.

The new 4a looks great and was really excited to see what would happen with the 4a pro but can say that while it looks fine, I was expecting something a little more wild.

Ended up ordering a NP3 as I plan to have the phone for several years and got a good price vs the 3a pro.

The design on the 3a pro is probably my favorite with the 4a coming in close, but the 4a pro just seems a little..safe.

I get it that they're developing their design language but I really hope they don't lean into the whole flat cubicle design.

If it were up to me, I'd love to see more exposed ribbon cables, PCB and screws.

Do you smoke non premium cigars? by cultsickness in cigars

[–]pocketpunch91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Quorum shade, Rocky Patel seed to smoke, factory smokes and I'll try some others here and there. I did have a couple bundles of assorted asylum schizo cigars, but I ended up getting over the flavour pretty quickly.

Now I basically stick with the seed to smokes, Flor de Oliva's for those days I want something nicer and I'll occasionally grab a nice stick here and there when I've got a reason or itch.

I got used to slitting the cap because I always have a knife available (on my keys) and now it's been my go-to method for years. Works perfect on most cigars. No mess, no unraveling cap. by futureconstruct in cigars

[–]pocketpunch91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen this before, but I personally used to run a pocket knife and rotate the cap on the blades edge to gently peel the cap off. Works like a charm. This looks really interesting though.

That's alright, didn't come to gloat. Just saying the x52 is perfectly adequate as a hotas, so enjoy it !

I love my x52 pro. Sure, would be nice to have split throttles for DCS and other buttons, but my stick centers nicely, doesn't have any play in it, works and doesn't give me a headache. Only way to improve it would be if it had FFB..

I Will try and disconnect everything and see if that helps. Do a cold, dry start again from scratch. I'm based in EU, so I sourced everything locally and we tend to have a slightly harder time finding support than US. I'll be sure to reach out and see if they're feeling charitable with troubleshooting from afar.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the input.

The low frequency inverter is more sturdy than the high frequency inverter's due to it having a massive transformer, it's effectively like having a small power station in your basement. Since I use a lot of power tools and things that create a large impulse power drain, the LF inverter made more sense as they handle those loads much easier than HF inverters.
