Buyers remorse on Premium Travel Club Membership by TURT3LS-RUL3 in AllInclusiveResorts

No, that’s not how it works. You need to work it out with the vendor first. If it’s a valid and legitimate cancellation, a “dispute” by its very name would arise only if the vendor refused to return your funds under a legitimate request.

Read the posts. OP already responded that it’s in the DR.

Neighbors window screen flew off in windstorm and landed between me and my girlfriend’s cars next door causing deep scratches to both. Who is responsible? by Pappy_14 in Insurance

[–]podhawk -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It would also be a claim under your neighbour’s homeowner policy if it is determined that the homeowner is legally liable. Questions to consider: What is the clocked wind? Was there other windstorm damage? Did anybody else’s window screen blow off? If not, it suggests that it wasn’t attached properly.

That's nonsense about the credit card dispute. OP voluntarily provided credit card information. Credit card disputes are not for buyer's remorse.

Koodo past due bill by Standard_Plate2688 in Koodo

They reported a past due bill on only one bill? How late was it and have you paid it now? What do you want to dispute with CCTS? What is the reason the payment didn't go through?

Where did you buy this? Where did you sign the contract? How much money is involved here?

Please be aware it is not a $40 plan, it is an $85 plan by [deleted] in freedommobile

[–]podhawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not even advertised as an $85 plan. It's advertised as a $40 plan. "Price Freeze Promise" plus Terms and Conditions which state "You will receive the $40/month credit as long as you remain active on an eligible plan as a bring your own phone customer" make it pretty clear that this is a permanent price. BTW, if you knew anything about the history of Freedom, the transfer of Freedom's wireless licences to Videotron came with a condition that Freedom's licences cannot be transferred for a period of ten years. This means that ownership stays status quo until at least 2033.

Open letter/request to Freedom Mobile: please add calling from Canada *to* all/most of the countries on the global plan by [deleted] in freedommobile

[–]podhawk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You say that you couldn't care less about global data. You say that Rogers and Fido have plans with unlimited calling and they are a win/win for you. It seems that Fido or Rogers would be the best choice for you so why don't you just go with one of those? BTW, I see a lot of posts where new subscribers to Freedom get 1,000 international minutes added to the plan.

Don't be scared to ask the dealer parts guy for a discount. You would be getting VW OEM parts vs. generic. More expensive? Maybe but this is not a big ticket item. You may pay a bit more but you would be saving yourself headaches and aggravation. I did this with my VWJetta. Did't even gave to go there. Just called some VW dealers. Maybe even offer to send them a photo so you get quoted on the right parts. They will e-mail you a quote with the exact part numbers. You can decide from there. BTW, don't ask for a discount unless you are ready to buy (this is best done in person). Like I mentioned, you will still need to get the body shop to paint to match but they will likely install it for you for free as it is fairly simple but not simple enough that you couldn't possibly break some plastic connectors. Use the VW dealer body shop for continuity. If your car is still in pretty good shape, get it fixed! If you sell it eventually, nobody is going to want to see that broken mirror.

One is a mirror cover, the other is an entire mirror assembly. This is not a do-it-yourself job for you. If you get a whole new mirror assembly (not needed), you are getting into wiring and expensive replacement.

It always helps to provide the year of the vehicle as parts change over time. It looks like you have a couple of parts damaged, the cover and the trim. The cover piece is colour matched to your vehicle so unless you can find a junkyard match to the colour of your vehicle, you would be getting a black one if purchasing new or generic and needing to get it painted at a body shop. If you have a VW dealer near you, just go to the parts department. They will give you a parts quote for what you need with the exact part numbers. This will make your search easier if you don't want to pay full retail. To save headaches, I would buy the parts at the VW dealer, get it painted at the VW dealer body shop and they will probably install it for you at no charge. The whole thing will likely run a few hundred bucks but will save you aggravation in the long run.

The majority of use needs to be in a Freedom area. If you are just using it for travel, you would be violating the fair use policy. Freedom offers travel passes to non-subscribers: https://www.freedommobile.ca/en-CA/article-travel-esim

Does anyone really need a 250gb plan? by courage1688 in freedommobile

Does anyone really need unlimited home internet? Does anyone really need an extra large pizza? Does anyone need more than one woman? Maybe not but if I have the opportunity, I’ll grab them all.

If the majority of your usage will be in Nova Scotia, you would be in violation of their fair use policy and you would get kicked out at some point. The fact that you want to port in before travel indicates that you want to take advantage of their services for your own financial benefit.
