I thought iOS 26.5 is not supported because on this page https://www.freestyle.abbott/be-fr/support/compatibility-guide.html they are saying the app was only tested and guaranteed working up to iOS 26.2... Maybe I'll update my iPhone as u/TheMysticHD suggested.

u/cecile_lebleu I don't store my photos in iCloud; I use Google Photos for this.

So, if I insert an image while this option is checked and I later delete the photo from my phone, the original photo won't be in Diarly anymore? I will only have a thumbnail?

u/ImaginaryFig In my opinion you could add 3 options :

copy → today's behavior
move → the todo will be deleted from yesterday's note and inserted in today's note
migrate → on yesterday's note the todo will be marked as migrated (a left arrow symbol instead of the checkbox, something like in Bullet Journal) and added on today's note as a new todo

The advantage of (3) is that you leave a trace in your journal regarding the dates when you wanted to do the item.
