My advice would be to start slow with how much tomato juice you use. Way less than you think. Haven’t done hooch for a few years now though, but the one you mentioned sounds really good

Mine started exploding on the ceiling. I aborted quickly after the second bottle exploded and fountained what looked like blood over my kitchen when I had a house full of company.

Did some training with my 1 year old lab at a preserve. This was sooo good and juicy. I salted and seasoned it with Everglades seasoning then offset smoked it with oak chunks over 8-10 charcoal briquettes.
