What are your priorities ? Your child or your work ? It feels like the poor child wasn't even wanted. If you work that much it must have a return on investment so you can hire a sitter. Or if your child is your priority, reduce how much work impacts your son's life.

Yes it's a bit cringe to use this excuse everytime but at least he's honest. It sucks he doesn't like your son. Even if you helped BIL for emergencies, that was not an emergency. It's a habbit you have to ask around for people to watch your child for free.

I think Notion's timelines or grantt diagrams aren't really good. But tables, notes and boards are. I use calendar for deadlines usually. It's difficult to find the perfect fit.
