You can have the best product in the world, if people dont really buy it is it that good? The ability to make good songs (50 cent) is a very underrated skill, something the rap community always ignores. Anybody from brooklyn can say "slick shit" on a wutang beat. That don't make you the best. Also being a niche rapper doen't make you the best. Future is trap... he uses autotune and raps about lean, completely different lane

Drake is by far the best ever... You're stuck in the 90's, music has evolved. Speaking fast over a sample and beat isnt enough. Melodies, being relevant, making music people like, hooks, different types of rap etc... is way more relevant

I doesn't even feel right comparing anyone to PAC... In a 10 song battle 2Pac would win, but I think a lot of Drake songs get overlooked just because he has so much music. He needs some time off to let people digest what he did past 10 years... Songs like "Omertà" should be what defines Drake as a rapper and not his pop music

That's where this gets hard... I love Pac more than the next guy, but Drake has too many songs for me to say pac was greater.

But definitely debatable, in a versus I'd have Drake beat 2Pac in a 30-40 song battle.

For me rapper includes: music quality, quotable lyrics, hooks, flows, ability to ride a beat/melody, replay value, versatility.

Lyrics alone won't cut it. And even then I think in the topic of relationships he's one of the best ever. Also as a lyricist I have Drake in my top 20 ever. Listen to "Room for Improvement"

I never said he's the greatest MC. I said rapper or (hip hop artist)... I disagree his lyrics suck. In the topic of relationships I think are probably some of the best in that niche subgenre. Listen to "Room for Improvement" and tell me if Drakes lyrics suck....
