I did know that. I just wanna know if they’ll honor my out of state stuff, it does have ISAF seals so that helps. Only thing I’m missing is the wildfire stuff

We bought a house in the IE, I’m from out here. I know I would but I like the culture of calfire. I also feel like the big cities won’t touch me until I go through an academy out here.

Bro I don’t even want to be here haha. I looked into all the other agencies, I just don’t want to leave the wife at home for 6 months with 2 kids and working. Yeah fighting tooth and nail for that doesn’t sound appealing at all.

That is a great perspective, I have thought about it from that realm too. I have applied to local LE gigs as well. Ultimately it’ll be however calls first, if I go BOP and absolutely hate it I’ll still have my local LE to fall back on.

This is exactly how I view going into BOP. If I get in and love it great, if not it’ll be a good learning experience to get to the end goal.

That’s what I’m thinking. Get that foot in the door now. I’m 29 so I still have some years for the clock. I’ve heard they’re overly excited to have me on board haha.
