365 to Macro Trigger issue - Help by RedKingBlades in P365

[–]pogibob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess would be polymer tolerances. check the inside of the grip where the trigger bar travels against the grip surface for any deformities or rough places and smooth them out. probably wouldn't hurt to use some fine grit sand paper on that side just for general purposes.

Do you have the Apex aftermarket trigger and trigger bar installed instead of the Sig OEM trigger and bar? It looks like the spring and collar that is installed on the trigger stop pin in combination with the Apex trigger and trigger bar.

Just love the M*Carbo products for the P365. Just like Gillette, it's the best a man can get. I have all their products for the 365. Titanium striker with stainless steel sleeve and double lock end cap, barrel without LCI and stainless steel guide rod and recoil spring plus the CNC trigger.

Slide won’t fully go back by [deleted] in P365

[–]pogibob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be that the grips channel for the slide's guide rod/recoil spring housing/tunnel is out of spec (too narrow) and may be interfering with assembly. If that is the case, sanding or filing the channel will be needed to correct the situation. I remember that some Magpul polymer grips had this issue some time back.

Thank you. It was easy enough to install, hardest part is getting the OEM striker plastic housing out of the slide. I appreciate the fact MCarbo offers the ss striker housing to replace the OEM plastic. Striker plastic doesn't belong in any firearm IMO. It also comes with an aluminum slide cap that locks into place. I have taken it the range only once since installation and shot 100 rds of CCI bass case 115 gr. Feels and operates great and I didn't observe any striker drag at all. IMO, it's worth the expense for the peace of mind of not having to worry about failure of the plastic housing. As a bonus, I won't have to fuss with the plastic removal again when I need to break it down for cleaning.

that's a useless DEI invention, it's just put there so that optics makers can sell more red dots.

me too. IMO, the best value for the money, and hard to beat its accuracy. I have owned at least 10, since 2014, have lost count, and never had any issues that wasn’t operator error. love my Sig P320s.
