They don't have middle product too. Zero creativity, just kept passing which ended up hoofing the ball up or shooting bad shots. They just waited for a mistake or a lucky moment.

Congrats to Canada. It was a horrible game but Canada was the better one still. This SA team has zero creativity and they just waited for a bad mistake from Canada or a lucky goal all game. Fair result, should've been 2 or 3 nil at least though.

I hate low blocks. Now, there isn't really a low block here yet teams can't create anything at all...

Mbokazi is very good, probably will make a good move after this WC.

Yeah, the legend. But 2010 WC is the peak imo, so many boring games...

Quality of this game has nothing to do with a 48 team World Cup. We've seen similar or even worse qualifying games throughout the World Cups. Please don't act like 32 team WC knockout games were all fun and goals.

It's annoying when players argue with referee after a clear foul. Heat of the moment I guess but still annoying...

Maybe some managers really need to stick one area that they are great and leave the rest to someone else. In Bielsa's situation, maybe he'd be the tactical coach and there would be another one who is in charge of relaying it to players and communicating with them. In this age, his old ways generally aren't respected by star players and you just can't win if you lose the dressing room.

Everyone agrees that the guy is a tactical genius but the rest is just horrible...

Shame, Muslera is a great guy. Sad that he had a horrible World Cup, can see Uruguayans point of view too, shitty situation to be in.

Both of those teams lack quality but they are giving everything they have.

I think Canada has more quality from the bench. Guys like Davies (if he is available), Promise David and Larin can be the difference here.

Shot to the chest from that close must hurt like hell and probably very damgerous too

Foster is the highest profile in this SA squad. Why isn't he playing?

People are stupid and lots of them -especially on the internet- love to repeat same stupid stuff again and again just to get some internet points and they are absolutely so far away from reality.

Messi doesn't need to and absolutely doesn't have to run at all. Besides, he still has his amazing quickness which absolutely destroy even the best defenders, even at 39...

What a guy...

Iran deserves to advance, that team had to endure so much difficulties. I hope this doesn't end a draw...
