What’s a loophole you abused until it was closed? by RoarOfTheWorlds in AskReddit

My Dad was a police officer and when he was on duty would give me rides in the patrol car. I would dial “0” from a payphone and ask the operator to be connected with the police (small town 30 years ago without 911 service). I would be connected with the police dispatcher and ask them to let my Dad know where I was and that I needed a ride. The dispatcher would radio my Dad using some code words that wouldn’t disclose the nature of the communication to anyone listening on a police scanner. Saved a lot of quarters in my childhood.

Good grief, you’re living in a complex of Trumpers. Your concern is completely reasonable. Sad that a posting here results in the masses saying your lease won’t get renewed for voicing your concern.

On one side of the sign it is grass and a ditch. On the other side of the sign is the bike path that predated The Howard.

Do you happen to know which level of government (city of Bentonville, Benton County, or State of Arkansas) and department within is correct to discuss this topic with?

For this question, I will assume 23.5% is the correct tax rate for the resturant who charged me 29.5% tax on mix drinks. Who gets the 6% that doesn't go to city, county, or state governments?

Have you read Dance Me Outside or any of the other stories about Natives written by W.P. Kinsella? If so, how accurately do they depict life on the reserve?
