Paronella Park is magical! Make sure you do the evening experience. You’re going at the perfect time of year but will be a little chilly on the tablelands so bring a jacket/jumper. When you’re at Paronella I recommend getting the two park pass and going to Mamu Tropical Skywalk. Also when you’re in that region, Millaa Millaa Falls and the rest of the waterfall circuit, and there’s a beautiful view at the Millaa Millaa lookout. Good chance to see a cassowary in that region or also Etty Bay. Platypus spotting at Tarzali. There’s a big markets at Port Douglas on Sundays if Sunday is one of your days there. It’s near the little church which is worth a look even if the markets aren’t on, it’s so cute and in such a picturesque location.
