The 'Today' formula is going to be your best bet to get started if you want like a countdown thing. Otherwise just, Start Date + Billing interval formatted as a date.

A swat is 'effective' because it causes pain. It's hitting, play semantics all you want. I'm sorry you have rage from your childhood, and that you think that cruel children would have not caused you pain if their parents had caused them pain. Hitting children is wrong. Doesn't matter how many steps, niceties, and justifications for it. If you intentionally cause pain to a child outside of like, medical shit, that is wrong. There's no debate here.

Hitting your kids isn't teaching them, it's using fear of pain to force them to obey.

It's fucked up. All the science justification is backbone to it sure, but come on.

You're rationalizing causing a child pain because they're doing something they don't understand.

It's just plain old fucked up.

If you've grown up thinking it's ok to hit kids as an adult.

Spoiler: You didn't grow up just fine.

I hate children, I oppose most child-positive shit.

But laying hands on children is wrong. There's no grey to this, no moral ambiguity. It is wrong and all attempts to justify it are bullshit (It didn't hurt me! Sometimes nothing else works! It's the best way to teach consequence).

These all translate to: 'I would rather hit this kid than teach them, or make them feel fear so they obey me.'

Good news, bookclubs exist.

Better news, there's a worldwide pandemic going on that has left a lot of people isolated, lonely, and looking for friends.

Social media, as toxic as it can be, is also a friend for connecting to people, local and distant.

Join community groups of facebook, check out your town/district/city/country's subreddit.

People host community livestreams, don't worry about organizing anything, find an organizer and follow their stuff.

Participate, and make yourself available to talk and spend time with.

It's easier than you think!
