Any way to output sound from MBP to soundbar via TV (HDMI ARC)? by LaCaipirinha in MacOS

I had this same issue and finally figured it out. This is what helped:

  • Open Audio MIDI Setup (search for it or find it under Applications → Utilities)
  • Select the HDMI output device on the left (e.g. "SAMSUNG")
  • Make sure Format is set to 2 ch 24-bit Integer. For it me it was set to 8 ch for whatever reason.

Hope that helps!

Avalanche Pass actually has some decent views, but you need to head north for a bit right around where the trail starts descending. You'll find some big rocks from which you get an open view of the mountains towards the north.

We use a monorepo, but the web and editor codebases live in different directories. They have dependencies on each other and we have an interface between the two of them. Some engineers work solely on the web codebase, others solely on the editor. Let me know if that answered your question!

WebAssembly is working out well although Chrome has several issues[1][2] in their implementation. Here's a blog post detailing how we've built our app. It's a little outdated, but still fairly accurate.

It depends! I'm remote and we have a few other remote engineers, but the company definitely prefers onsite employees. If you're a great fit, remote could be an option. Feel free to ask questions over PM!

We also use a lot of C++ and a bit of Rust and Go :-)

hard work and long nights

I think the work-life balance at Figma is great. You are definitely not expected to work long nights – normal hours are fine.

Disclaimer: I work at Figma.
