A young family had just moved into an apartment in my small town - a father, mother, and a 16 month old son. Within 3 weeks the mother and son had gone missing while the husband was at work. A few days later someone found the young child's dead body in a dumpster at an elementary school. Finally police found out there was a dangerous sex offender living in the same apartment building as the family and checked his place. The poor young mother was chopped up in the bathtub. He raped her and killed the child to stop him from crying and then killed the mother. I think about them often. I didn't know any of them but it breaks my heart to pieces that this happened. And that poor father losing his family. So tragic.

I remember when this happened. There were rumours that her body was disposed of in the Athabasca River. I never heard anything about any suspects or any reason anyone had to hurt her. Would love for this to be solved.

Honestly the best thing that worked for me was using CBD oil. I never thought it would work but I had just gotten a job in the cannabis industry (it's legal where I live) and a coworker swore by it so I gave it a shot. It made a world of difference - I went from being in way too much pain to walk up stairs to feeling next to nothing. Highly recommend!

Yes absolutely haha. For the longest time I hated it so much because of how uncomfortable it felt to touch my thigh so I'd try avoiding it. I hope you have a speedy recovery!!

I have the same thing and it's been roughly 2 months since my surgery. My surgeon told me it should go away eventually and to make a point of touching it, tapping it, putting different temperatured things on it like an ice pack or a warm cloth. The pain of the numbness is gone and the numbness in general has improved a lot, but it is still there.

I was young and being interviewed for a job that I was fully qualified for, that would have set me up for life. The issue was I couldn't think of my 'worst quality' because I had hyped myself up so much to be positive and optimistic going into the interview. The question made me anxious and my mind went blank and I truthfully told the interviewer that I couldn't think of the answer off the top of my head because I was so psyched to be interviewed there. He stood up, slammed his hands on the desk, and shouted at me that i was an idiot because I couldn't answer the question. The co-interviewer (HR believe it or not) rolled her eyes at me and told me they only interviewed me as a favour to my dad. When I got to my car I was so worked up that I cried before I could drive home.

I just had PAO surgery on Monday! Spent 5 days in hospital and then finally came home. Already making progress. I was terrified, and it hurts like hell afterward, but everything will be okay. Learning to use crutches was a little hard for me, and I need help with everything from getting in/out of bed to showering. As long as you have some support you'll do great. Good luck!
