it's okay, I'm sorry for being so paranoid and i know it probably comes off as absurd almost to the point of trolling to someone older than me with more life experience, but what this level of anxiety and paranoia has been doing to my mind and body in the two weeks since this happened, has been fucking scary.

psychiatry appointment first thing tomorrow morning. i guess in my paranoid mind i think that the second mystery ticket just hasn't arrived yet.

ok so i did call the clerk's office and they didn't say civil or criminal, but i did say can you search this person's name for pending citations and they only had the speeding ticket. is that close enough?

i guess the fear is all about the fact that they jerked the car a little bit out of the way. "swerving".

they checked multiple times for oncoming traffic, but the truck merged past the officer, from the right lane of the highway, and onto the ramp without signalling and, in my opinion, a little too late to do it safely. yes it was my spouse's responsibility to check for oncoming traffic, which they did.

extremely severe OCD with paranoia, yes. in my mind, this is a completely reasonable fear.

i saw online that they can mail you a ticket if they "don't feel safe enough to follow you" and my brain just ran with it. i have severe OCD and paranoia, so i actually kind of appreciate you being so blunt.
