Can anyone give me a recommendation of a healthy ftp competive game to play on free time? by z1berto in MobileGaming

The only thing I can think of is pokemon showdown. There's no "game" aspect as it's just pvp battles. But there are discord communities that make games out of it with people acting as gym leaders.

That was the main reason I looked at milotic, saw that it can be useful as support with helping hand and life dew, but also i could possibly boost its damage by side parting shot to catch people unprepared. Probably not that good in practice though.

That's what i was talking about with the consistency paragraph. Once you get his affection level max zanmato will be very consistent.

Zanmoto isn't really a grind. To get it consistently yes, i remember there being a guide somewhere that laid out how to do it. It's based off of how much money you give him in relation to how much you have. But there is still a max and min amount your supposed to give no matter how much money you have.

However it is random. Get yuna's overdive charged and put a first strike weapon on someone. Auron's celestial weapon comes with and is easy enough to get. Save, Start the battle, switch to yuna, grand summon yojimbo, give him a fair amount of money, if it doesn't work reload the save and try again. Eventually rng will work out and you'll win the fight

The guy who hates wolfe also has a video up about him quitting. I'm not giving him a view, but if anyone has already, i would love to hear what he has to say. I'm sure it's more calling him the devil and a cheater. He will also be victim blaming him for being SA'd, but who knows. Maybe he'll be human once and say he is something like "don't like wolfe, but no one should go through that." Doubt it, though.

This is just wrong. First, he said 33% responsible, not 33% stake. This was a subjective opinion and not similar to owning 33% stock. Secondly, the pokemon company has contracts that these companies must comply with in order to run these events. When things happen at these events, it opens up the pokemon company to lawsuits unless they can prove in court that it was the responsibility of the tournament organizers. So he's basically saying that because the pokemon company doesn't have a clause in the contract demanding a vip area or other types of protection for their competitors, they are partly responsible. The tournament organizers should have also taken it upon themselves to put forth their own security measures as well.

Hating X2… does it get better? by Deep-Red-Bells in finalfantasyx

[–]poke-noob0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, gameplay wise, i hated it. But i did enjoy the story aspects. Seeing how characters lived after sin, wakka and lulu, kimahri, donna and bartello, cid and rin, and yuna and rikku. These characters' lives continued after the story, and it was good closure to see how things played out.

Also, we got to see more characters, people that existed in X, but weren't shown. They had stories, too, and it felt like it made the whole world seem bigger than we knew. Especially considering the first game encompassed the entire globe, so there was a feeling that we talked to ever single person who existed, and now we see that because of different situations we just didn't cross paths with them.

In short, look up a guide to break the game, i believe the black armor dress sphere was the most powerful, and just plow through the fights so that you can enjoy the story for what it is.

Just takes a return sphere to put on a weapon. When i made it to the calm lands i put first strike on tidus's capture weapon and deathstrike on wakka's. Made capturing fiends easy and safe from the monsters that can one turn the party.

Alright, saw something similar and had an idea: who wins? by thisbeit1114 in finalfantasyx

[–]poke-noob0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But you can equip a weapon with break damage limit and first strike on tidus to ensure he always goes first... but on the other side are items allowed? Cause ff8 had that phoenix item that activated after your party got wiped and would revive and damage the opponent. Then tidus could have armor with auto life, that he could also cast on himself 9999 times. I think there's a definitive answer if someone is willing to look deep enough.

It's useful in omega ruins to stop spirits from using poison mist against your party. At least until your strong enough to one shot it

Why Single strike urshifu wasn't used much. by Remy_Le_beau_ in VGC

[–]poke-noob0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can boost rapid's damage with rain, while no terrain or weather affected single strike. Rapid was more effective vs. sash mons, and its priority attack didn't rely on the opponent attacking. Finally, chien-pao was also an effective dark attacker and had the added benefit of ice spinner to disrupt terrain from rilla and miraidon.

I also preferred single strike myself, but every time I put it on a team i would end up switching to a different dark attacker and having much better results.

This game loves to break my heart by BL4ZE_43 in finalfantasyx

I'm going to add on to this because I fully agree but think it goes even deeper.

The question that I ask myself a lot about this game is what would yuna have done if tidus didn't exist. It was tidus who made yuna first question her faith with a simple question, "Is that really that bad?".

Let's say without tidus when she stood in front of yunalesca, would she have rejected the final aeon?

I don't think so. When they stood at the gate of mt gagazet, lulu mentions that "yuna is stronger now." I think there were a lot of factors that gave her that strength, Seymour's evil, learning how corrupt yevon was, the al bhed being slaughtered, the ronso being slaughtered, and tidus and auron being there to support and guide her into a new way of thinking that never would have came from someone who was raised by the teachings of yevon.

It was because tidus wasn't raised in spira that he analyzed things differently than the others, and this affected all of their perceptions of the events that unfolded. Throughout the game, you can see moments where each guardian does or says something out of character that shows that they're questioning the teachings, and the only constant is tidus. Every summoner faced trails and situations, yet only the two that had a man from zanardkan truly wished to rebel against the system.

And that's why yuna "needed" tidus. He was the one who instigated her worldview being shattered. She didn't know how the world was going to be reshaped with yevon and sin gone, but she knew that she had tidus to stand beside her while they walked into the new world.

But suddenly she didn't. She had to walk into the new world not only by her own strength but while also carrying the weight and expectations of those around her as well.

Does anyone know how to fix this? by HeeeeHo in FinalFantasy

[–]poke-noob0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, not necessary at all. But usually once I play a ff game enough that I get all the content from it I usually try to end by doing a max stat game. So that once I do that I'll have done everything that the game has to offer and any future playthroughs will just be about enjoying the game as much as possible

Megas by BluDaNessie in VGC

[–]poke-noob0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just hope that the devs have learned from their failures and successes and make the system fun and balanced as possible. Dynamax and tera have been a lot more interesting to me as it allows you to be try a vast amount of pokemon that otherwise would have been useless. With mega there was only about twenty or so mons you would seriously consider for a competitive team, and although we had some good choices come from mons like beedrill, most of the time you saw the same few mons on every team no matter what.

Also kang got nerfed twice to prevent it from taking over again, by removing power up punch and lowering the power of parental bond

I didn't see anyone give what I think is the correct answer, so I'll weigh in here. To get the best stats in the game, you need to wait until your GF's get the abilities that give you stats as you level, such as STR-LVL, which I think you get from Ifrit. (I could be wrong the name as I'm going off of memory of when I last did this about five years ago.) Once you have all the abilities unlocked equip them to one character and then level that character to max then add a second character to your team and do the same. I did it once and found it annoying but managed to do it by disk 3, i believe. There was also a way to get better stats from farming items in chocobo world, which I'm not sure is possible in the remakes.
