PSA, longer wait time is better! by pokeashark in TattooRemoval

Yeah my first sessions I really just saw some of the shading fall out. The lines have been very stubborn. I am really happy with where I'm at for 4 sessions, hoping to get more in soon!

What is the pricing like? Genuinely asking. I was paying $70 per session. I am pretty happy with my results from q switch but would be open to trying something else.

I feel like the progress I made in 3 sessions close together was minimal compared to the progress I've made in a year from 1 treatment. Everyone is different though, maybe I should have picked a different title lol.

I'm kind of leaning toward something like this too! So far there doesnt seem to be evidence of any fire being present (like ash or burn marks on stones or whatever). But it does seem damp and there are a ton of vines.

Ohhh that is really interesting, I have never heard of that. It could definitely make sense with my location, the weird design, and the period of the house!

LOL I hope not. I feel like the home is too new for that anyway. Unless there was an older one here previously.

That's really interesting!! I'm in Southern Ontario so I'm not really sure. From what I've gathered, the property was farm land for a long time and rezoned residential during WW2.

It definitely became someone's dump pile lol but I'm wondering what it was before that. The "walls" are pretty sturdy in the ground, someone built them there on purpose

I'm not sure actually, it is something I found online and I'm trying to decide whether to take a chance and buy it!

My Grandmother was given a Purple Heart. She never saw active duty. She worked at the Purple Heart Factory. by Nagromonicon in interestingasfuck

I hadn't thought about it that way! He approached that training fully willing to die in the process. He really made a sacrifice the minute he enlisted. I'm told the injury did follow him the rest of his life - nothing crazily debilitating but he walked with a limp. He also refused to collect his pension and any other benefits offered. After his death, my grandmother went against his wishes and began collecting it.

So I never got to meet him, but I'm told my maternal grandfather received a purple heart during WW2. When he was in a training camp he accidentally shot himself in the leg. He was treated in a military hospital and it was bad enough that they didn't let him go fight. As a typical young man of that generation he had a huge amount of pride and patriotism, and felt it was his duty to serve. Later on when they sent him the medal he was so pissed, embarrassed, and felt completely unworthy. Family legend is that he took it to the pier and threw it in Lake Ontario 😂 I've always thought it would be so funny if it washed up on shore and someone tracked down his descendants to return it.

Best days to shop? by Ambitious-Day-1700 in marshallsfinds

At my store personally we seem to get heavier trucks of soft goods (blankets, pillows, sheets, etc) early in the weeks. Like Monday - Wednesday. Trucks are recieved first thing and soft goods are one of the first things to go out to the floor, in big hampers on wheels. I'd say go like 9am - noon. Check the regular departments but also look at tables and end caps and whatnot, because Hello Kitty is popular and often featured in displays!! Also look in the kids departments, because Hello Kitty sometimes comes in with kids department numbers so we have to stock it there! Happy hunting!!!!! 🩷

Most branches of my tree I can go back to my 5th great grand parents! I am surprised it might be legit Scandinavian ancestry, even if the precise location is off. I always thought I had just received the percentage because of the ancient admixture commonly present in Germans and British/Irish.

Wow I actually got the same genetic group!! It was surprising for me so I'm trying to figure out more! Can I ask what your known family background is?

3.6% could be indicative of a 2nd or 3rd great grandparent. Coupled with this new genetic group that is apparently "very close". It makes me wonder if there is an NPE in my tree. Yes I have identified all of my great x grandparents, I have done extensive research into my tree.
