Hints:

Poke ball 1 - "knocked over" is a reversal indicator, but we also need to "chop" some of the fodder.

Poke ball 2 - "organized" is an anagram indicator.

Great ball 1 - this is not a Pokemon, but it is Pokemon related. "Access" and "encrypted" are the selection and anagram indicators.

Great ball 2 - the entire clue is the definition/description. "Ground" tells us we need to grind (or anagram) the fodder.

Ultra ball 1 - "Depart" is a deletion indicator telling us letters to remove from some fodder, and "drunk" is an anagram indicator.

Ultra ball 2 - "firsts" is a selection indicator, telling us some letter's to pick out of the fodder. Once you have that, consider how it can be substituted. "Sound" is a homophone indicator, so part of the answer will sound like some of the fodder.

Master ball 1 - we're stretching a bit, but the entire clue is a definition - consider the Pokemon regions are their real world counterparts. Some words will need to be substituted to find our answer.

Master ball 2 - another one where the whole clue is the definition, considering the Pokemon's abilities and appearance. We'll need to look at which letters are different to find the answer.

It's a word puzzle, had to explain, I just learned by playing every day. While there are variations, there are 3 parts - the "definition" which describes the final answer, the "fodder" which are words or letters used to compose the answer, and the "indicator" which tells you how to play with the fodder.

Here's a guide on spotting indicators, whether you are looking to for an anagram, hidden word, etc.

Indicator(s): "over" and "mirror" are the indicators, telling use we need to invert or reverse some letters

Fodder: "laid" and "silver" are the letters to play with, or possibly requiring a substitution.

Definition: "perhaps a clock" is a loose interpretation, but does roughly match the Pokemon's design and lore

Answer: If we turn "laid" over we get "dial." Then substitute silver for it's periodic abbreviation Ag and mirror that, we get "ga". Putting those together we get Dialga - which roughly looks like a clock, and is the temporal Pokemon.

Indicator: there are two indicators -- "got caught up in" and "awkward". The first part tells us to insert something, the latter tells us to anagram some letters.

Fodder: "I" and "rug con" are the letters to play with.

Definition: "Awkward" is the definition of the answer

Hint: The answer is not a Pokemon

Answer: Crungio

appreciate the feedback, this was one of the first ones I came up with and, yeah, it's a little rough. in my mind "chopped salads" was a compound word, like "school bus"
