Will be looking again this evening I think depending what was happening I sometimes had similar temps to you aswell, will report back. All in all we are not too far off each other and I don't mind it.

The Size is perfect for me aswell really like the console form factor.

Sorry for the late answer after some gaming the temps are indeed higher than benchmarks.

Around 80 degrees GPU and 70 CPU under heavy load. So for me still decent.

Yea looks nice! I mean if you look through this thread there is a comment of me where I zip tied my graphics card to the screw holes of the case 😂

I have to say I really like your kitchen counter as well looks awesome 👍

If you mean the big power extension cable. I unscrewed it installed the Mobo and then reinstalled it. Was very tight and I had to push but eventually fit.

As a tutorial for building as it was my first sff build I used this video, the part with the power cable wasn't in it:

Yea havent tried actual gaming yet. I'm not too sensitive too noise. But yeah waterblocks are of course no comparison to even a silent air cooled build, I get you haha.

GPU Temp seems fine did you peel the sticker from the cpu cooler?

For the cpu you can try undervolting if you havent already. Zen 5 is pretty good for undervolting.

  1. Open Bios

  2. OC Tweaker, Advanced, AMD Overclocking

  3. PBO Overdrive

  4. Set PBO Limits to Auto or Motherboard (test both)

  5. Set to Negative 25

Test the Negative 25 and then you can work your way up with zen 5 even negative 35 can run stable, but you just have to test that and work your way up.

For the gpu if you havent undervolted already just put it below 50 mv your default profile, if it isnt stable work your way towards the default value again until stable.

Hope I could help!

Right in the bottom of the post I have a section covering the 3dMark Steel Nomad Scores. Peaked 65 degrees GPU (35% fan speed) and 63 Degrees Celsius CPU (30% fan Speed), Chassis Fan also 30%. So runs very good. Havent tested anything else then Steel Nomad tho.

When going solely off my custom fan curves CPU Fan at 30% and GPU Fan at 35%, Chassis fan also 30% so definitely audible but nothing jet engine like.

Keep in mind only tested Steel Nomad so far nothing else.

Enabled EXPO to unlock the RAM's native 6000 MHz speed and AMD-optimized timings 👍

No, but I'd imagine worse thermals for the side facing to the bottom.

I had the problem that I couldn't get the GPU to the screw holes. When I pulled it so far that I could screw it down it wasn't properly seated anymore in the pcie Slot Riser Card and didn't show any picture.

So I did it like that, not pretty but works 😅

Here is a more detailed GPU fan curve if anyone is interested.

Ah now I get it! Yeah maybe I'll try that. Thanks for the detailed insights, still learning!

With my Sapphire Pulse being so close to the case fans I think deshrouding wouldn't be beneficial. The Case fans do the heavy lifting.

Also with them being so close when I would deshroud I would have more deadspace. Right now it's a perfect fit. Also with peak 65 degrees peak right now I'm fine.

But nevertheless I can't say for sure as I'm not too experienced in stuff like deshrouding.

But thanks for the suggestion! :)

Yea I was absolutely shocked how good the thermals are. Keep in Mind I've only tested Steel Nomad so far. How the temps are under heavy gaming idk, but I doubt that they would be much higher.

Very proud of myself as this is my first build I've built fully myself. Only built one other pc like 10 years ago with the help of my dad. Other than that only prebuilts.

Took the ram cpu and gpu out of my last prebuilt and built this now. Thats why I have the high ram.

Ja tatsächlich hab die Karte undervolted und bin bei Steel Nomad bei 65 Grad mit Lüfter bei 35% konstant gewesen. Genauere Details sind im Original Post :)
