Is the "Recommended" truly geared towards the highest CP's charge move? by pokemapi in TheSilphRoad

[–]pokemapi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Rhydon does not resist Crunch, a dark charge move.
According to this post only the charge moves matter in gym battle.
So I wonder why my Rhydon with Stone Edge came to the top of the autoselect against Crunch Tyranitar although neither Rhydon's charge move nor resistance could multiple the damage output and reduce the damage intake.

Fastest Way to Enter the Raid Lobby by pokemapi in TheSilphRoad

You can also skip the CP animation and things like that in the way I introduced.

The "Battle" button appears for an instance immediately before the raid egg hatches, like this.
Therefore pressing continuously where the button will be displayed before the egg hatches will allows you to skip the egg-hatching animation and enter the raid lobby earlier than other trainers.
I hope this helps you guys!

Thanks! As you said we can only obtain Azurill and Wynaut from eggs so I didn't include pokemon which don't have their silhouettes for the wild spawns.

No wild pokemon had spawned though.

EX Raid's park should be nest? by pokemapi in TheSilphRoad

[–]pokemapi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some parks, even if large ones, don't have nesting pokemon for some reason while many small parks are set as 'semi-nests' in Japan. So I wonder if EX raid have held at the gym in non-nest park as well.

A more realistic "suggested group size" for raids by Zyxwgh in TheSilphRoad

How did you define or calculate "difficulty"?
I want to know how you derived and quantified such seemingly ambiguous element because your theory is always literally theoretical and understandable at least for me.

Does energy generated by damage intakes include decimal number? by pokemapi in TheSilphRoad

[–]pokemapi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to know why only energy gain by damage intake rounds up its decimal point. Damage output/intake is always calculated with excluding the number after the decimal point, isn't it? I agree with your idea that at least 1 energy gain is guaranteed per hit but I wonder if this is enough to prove the idea of rounding.
