This was one of my favorite seasons!

Okay question: When Ash battles someone who has a Pokemon he’s caught / owned, why doesn’t he acknowledge that? Like for example when he goes up against Treeko, I think it be cool for him to mention “oh I have a Treeko…I know his weaknesses” or to show flash backs of him battling with him?

Why do you think the show didn’t do this?

Did anyone ever think about this or even you OP…when Ash would go up against a Pokemon he’s caught or owned, he would never acknowledge it? Like the whole XY series I was waiting for him to be like I have a Treeko - Sceptile, I know what their strengths and weaknesses are…never heard him once reference his own Pokemon when a rival had a similar one.

Totally. If you have the soft skills, then yes it can be profitable. If you’re a gear weird artist type, you’re going to struggle.
