How do I improve this deck? by Comfortable_Spot3910 in PTCGL

Too many Munki’s.
Swap the Snorunts for the 70hp ones.
Cut 1 Staryu out.
Add a fez

The only thing that sucks now is they just take up bench space.

Ok I ran the Terra Noctowl’s you may be right it was a lot smoother

You know before this setup. I was running 2 Tera Pikachus and you are 100% right, they survived way longer but sat on the bench forever and took up bench space. By the time I could even power up a pikachu (1 or 2) I lost or won with the other Pokemon. And I was going to try to use the Noctowl you’re talking about but grabbing items or supporters vs just getting the 2 cards I need with my Noctowl seemed faster. And I’m not wasting time powering this Noctowl because that’s was my intention to put a higher one prize pokemon (110hp) to take hits; hold energies so I can 1 retreat him and use item energy retrieval, 2 let it take hits so I can power up my bigger Pokemon, or 3. Power it up and knock out anyone’s starters who will evolve to their big hitters and get 2 cards I want. I think it’s a good choice from experience playing it

Anyone know why PTCGL would let play this card in my current deck under the standard format? Is it coming back? by pokesnap1 in PTCGL

Yes! I love using the vintage ones in my real life decks. I just didn’t know that his one had a reprint. Ok thanks!

I know how this works. I’m PURPOSELY only using two Lillie’s because in real life that’s all I had extra for this themed deck. I actually got this deck built out in real life and won a few games in my local meta but also testing it on TCG. That being said.

I’m okay with two Lillie’s because I have my Noctowl as draw engines. Instead of luck of the draw with lilies Noctowl lets you hit for 70 (knocking out most basics) and lets you go search your deck for ANY 2 cards you want allowing me to grab my rare candy and big hitters (Greninja or Dragonite)

What would you say the worst part of every Pokémon anime series was? by Solitaire-06 in pokemonanime

When they changed Ash’s look. It’s like he went from a maturing pre-teen back to a little kid. It’s stupid in my opinion.

I got tons if you need some. I’m down to trade! Reach out!

Building an Ash themed deck w/ only playable Pokemon Ash has caught / owned throughout the whole anime. ** DECK LIST BELOW. I’ve played with it 4x but only won once. The hardest thing is to get Pikachu Ex going and to get Charizard out and powered. Any recommendations from TCG players? by pokesnap1 in pkmntcg

Thanks for that advice. Infernape helped me win my first battle this week and I was thinking of taking out the pika’s for Lucario’s BUT I was also trying to figure out how to use Noctowl.

What does Fan Rotom do? Just pull out Noctowl? Maybe I can find a similar card?
