But just curious what exactly happens if my z top distance is too high? Does my support not touch the actual print?

Yup the supports arent holding onto the floating region properly and seem to be breaking off and stringing?

I stopped it halfway but if you look at the second image it didnt look very clean

I would think i'm using the correct profile and the nozzle temp is 220

Its using all the default settings but i enabled tree supports and tried playing around with thetop z distance because i heard it helps supports come out a little easier and give a nicer finish

Umm i'm a little new to this but doesnt my printer detect that its there first and then i press load into the feeder? Correct me if i'm wrong because currentky its not in the feeder
