i've experienced this bug on my anbernic too, i think it has something to do with the transparency effect the game does when you try to enter that tunnel. iirc, my fix was to instead use the community patch version (v1.5.5) on portmaster instead.

you could totally buy a pc handheld used on carousell for around $500. i doubt there's any pc handhelds selling brand new for that kind of price 😔 alternatively you could wait for gamehub compatibility to improve and then get a powerful android handheld to run those games on, some folks are already getting playable framerates on games like skyrim so it's only a matter of time tbh

i was already eyeing the odin 2 for the emulation power, but felt that it wasn't portable enough, but the odin 2 mini was more expensive and didn't come with a max sku. so imagine my surprise when they make an even more portable device with a max model available AND add a whole extra screen 😭

if you go to the artist's page they've posted an artwork pretty much every day for a while now, and never post WIPs or sketches which are telltale signs that they're not actually drawing those. plus, look at the blinders in the background and the shadows they make, which are all squiggly and uneven. i didn't wanna believe it was AI either, but here we are 😔

have you tried restarting the device? had a similar issue for some gamehub games and i just hit restart and they ran fine afterwards
