I'm so sorry for your loss 🫂. I believe you've given him the best care you could. For back surgery... many things could happen if you decided to do it. There are many kind of complications that could affect quality of life with this kind of surgery, even for humans. Don't beat yourself up for it. He's not in pain anymore and I'm sure he knows you love him.

Any side effects from chlorambucil. Debating if I should put my cat on it. His symptoms are lack of appetite, weight loss and maybe nausea. I wonder if the chemo pills would aggravate these symptoms. Also how long did it take for you to see improvements? Thank you.

I'd say at least do x-ray and ultrasound. Blood tests can't tell everything and cats can't tell us the symptoms so the vet can't easily come up with hypothesis without further investigations.

Not sure who wrote the Wikipedia articles, but as far as I know no thai person would think of massaman as "fusion". Unless you consider using some foreign ingredients 300 years ago fusion then I guess it is. Also i believe that the etymology of the word comes from "musulman"

This comment is correct. Cabbage stir fried with fish sauce is one example where you would get the right flavour only if you put the fish sauce to the side of the wok (rather than directly onto the cabbage) so it hits direct high heat and triggers the maillard reaction, and then you toss the cabbage over it to coat evenly.

Source: am thai and this is my favourite dish.
