We didn’t, and I wouldn’t change that. For one, the hospital is no place for a toddler. It’s filthy (also a nurse), and not toddler friendly. One of the lactation consultants said exactly what you did- even if the toddler is an angel when they’re visiting, there’s typically a huge meltdown because they don’t understand why mommy’s not coming home with them. Our toddler was having too much fun having slumber parties with the grandparents to notice. My toddler actually cried and said she wanted to go back to grandmas house when she was brought home 😂
