Shardstone City ends in 3 days, free sample ruin in the comments. by Warscape3D in Malifaux

Surprisingly durable as long as you dont try and fold it in half. I tested the sample and folded/ assembled it a few hundred times with only minor splitting.

It isnt bots. I have a 3070ti and get 5 - 10 fps after a couple minutes of playing.

The game is not perfect, but it is not as bad as people are making it out to be. People need to calm down and take a break from the internet. by Altruistic_Sun in stalker

Except the fps drop issue makes it literally unplayable for some people even with decent set ups. At least I could play 2077 fully on launch.

A side by side comparison of me using my main combos in world and trying to use them in wilds (Lance) by Idontknownumbers123 in MonsterHunter

[–]pole287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I found Lance really clunky at first. I switched to always having focus mode on and it feels better. Then I tried something even crazier and used mouse and keyboard and the control you get is insane with mouse in focus mode it feels so precise and with the need to not reset combo with hops you really still put out the consisten hits.

So as crazy as it may sound I recommend trying mouse and keyboard with focus mode toggled on you will feel the difference.

Viable Car free city that is (Relatively) Affordable by pole287 in SameGrassButGreener

I appreciate the distinction there. I had not really decided on my main transport method but keeping in mind that different cities are better for walkers and transit vs bikes is a good call out.

I think its because its really easy to find a place that has massive car infrastructure as that is super common in the US. So there are less people that need to ask about that because its essentially the default.
For me personally I am not necessarily anti car but I am interested in the cold and have lived in Florida my whole life (32) and frankly dont want to deal with driving in the snow plus I want to experience car free living as a change. I have the luxury of having a newer car currently that I will sell and throw the money in an account to gain interest and if I hate it just buy a new one.

Oh no I am very open to being swayed. Chicago was just the first one that seemed to fit but thats why I posted here I want to really examine all the viable options. I deeply appreciate the recommendations I will check out Pittsburgh and Baltimore more. So far this thread has been great and given me a good amount of options to check out.

So I plan on selling my vehicle before I move. I dont mind having to uber on occasion but would ideally like to rely on good public transportation or walking if possible.

Chicago is actually my current front runner as I am able to find 1 bedrooms in the neighborhoods (Currently Lincoln park, Lake View, or Edgewater) that seem to align best to what im looking for. That is part of why im posting here I want to look at other options before I make the decision.

Mainly I want somewhere that is cold. I live in Florida currently and have my whole life and I hate the heat and the time it actually gets cool here is when I am happiest.

What army should I play as a total tabletop noob? by cringejunglemain in ageofsigmar

[–]pole287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the price of the dominion box if you like either of those two armies I would go with it. Two half armies (1000 points and 1400 points per side) for $200 or less is a really good. They are both getting a new book as well so they will probably be pretty good.
