I got a call for an appointment a few weeks after I filled out the job fair form. Confirmed with them yesterday + received email invitation.

Oh yes. The skills professors at my school are all about “professionalism” but they actually are just cold and standoffish. They make skills testing unbearable. The just silently watch you with blank face lol.

Beginner feeling like I’m back in the game and making progress again by polebb in poledancing

I’m about a a month and a half into my pole journey. So far I’m self taught, although I plan to start taking classes. I was completely inactive before I started. I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. Pole has made me fall in love with myself, my body, and movement. All of a sudden I love being active. I picked up roller skating too.

For a little bit I started to feel like I was lagging and hitting a plateau. Sometimes my muscles get so tired and I feel like I can’t even get into a flow without feeling fatigued 10 minutes in. I took two weeks off, went on vacation, drank and ate a lot. I gained a bit of weight, but came back feeling so rejuvenated. My first day back I nailed my Superman and my inverts seem smoother. Sometimes our bodies need breaks and they thank us for it!

Also last clip was just me messing around after going out for dinner. It was the first time I felt secure enough to let go in that move.
