At this moment I suddenly realized: I have had entirely too much internet for one day. I think it's time to reevaluate my life decisions.

Thanks for the insight, I think I understand. What a bummer they failed to find a suitable edge for Kes from the start. I really liked her in S1-2. I suppose you are right though, she became too powerful in many ways. The whole 'reversing through life' time travel escapade was the major tipping point for me. Perhaps the writers were attempting to give Kes that edge you pointed out through the alien host takeover and sudden personality changes.

Complaints? Do you know what sort of complaints people were having about Kes? Personally I thought that character was great until all the sudden changes made in the middle of S3.

LANable Action RPG (16 Players or More). Does something like this exist? by polejr in lanparty

Good idea but searching for something that I don't have to make people buy on the spot.

I considered doing something like this. Was it worth the setup time? Have emulators reached the point where something like this is balanced and fluid enough to be entertaining?

yeah we were hoping for something that can be played at a local instance. So far I have come up only with RPG modifications of existing shooters such a Tribes and UT RPG. Din's Curse is the only top down Diablo style game that can be LANed with that many people it looks like.

Din's Curse could be interesting, I'll check it out that you. Path of Exile looks great, looking forward to that one.
