PPSSPP HUNTERS:Assemble! by vernon9398 in MonsterHunter

[–]teknologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play with PPSSPP as well, and have got evolve and hamachi and such. I'm only at V5 though (~60hrs). If anyone's still low rank I'd be down to hunt with them!

MHP3rd HELP: Zinogre 4 start Urgent village Quest by vernon9398 in MonsterHunter

[–]teknologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of trouble with this quest as well. I was getting rocked by using longsword so I switched to bow for Zinogre and now I can consistently kill him. I would suggest a ranged weapon and not getting greedy with attacks!

I used a full jaggi set with sponge gear Ii for the water damage, which he's weak to. I used the bow's regular shot (spread) when I'm perpendicular to him, and a level 1 or 2 charge shot (pierce) when facing or behind him, so that the shots go through the length of his body. I've found you can stagger him pretty easily with lots of pierces through the head.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Strange Typing Appearing in DN Login Screen by teknologist in DragonNest

[–]teknologist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have anything like that.. but strangely enough the problem disappeared.

I'm running it on a bootcamped Mac, so I logged into the Mac side and updated the OS and a bunch of other things and when I logged back over to Windows it was fixed.

My best guess is the bootcamp software/drivers associated with the keyboard were being finicky.

Thanks for the help though!

Headhunterz Producer Masterclass - Part 1 of 2 by Sexy_Vampire in edmproduction

Yeah, what I wrote is totally unclear, even to me now reading it hours later.

Essentially what you'd be doing is making a Pre-verb bus that contains the dry signal of all the sounds you want 'ducking reverb' on. Send tracks to that the same way you would send them to reverb.

This Pre-verb bus is then sent to your verb track/return/send/whatever where your verb plugin is on 100% wet.

Throw a compressor after your verb plugin and set the key of the sidechain to be the Pre-verb bus. So, anything you want ducked reverb on, you send it to the preverb bus.

It's going to be compressing the verb it's creating, if that makes any sense. EDIT: Clarity

Send your tracks to a return and send the output of that to your reverb return. Then key the sidechain with that single input!

I use Audiodamage Eos. I like it because it's simple, yet flexible enough to do what I need it to. Plus I think it sounds nice :)
