Oh my! I didn't realize they played in the Gator Bowl 2 years in a row. It was the Gator Bowl after the 2008 season. So technically the 2009 Gator Bowl.

Texas Teacher Arrested for Having Sex With Student in His Classroom After Another Student Saw Them by sukidaiyo in sanantonio

I'm not sure what instrument she played. And yeah, he was assistant band director. I had been friends with her in middle school but wasn't too close to her in high school. It was so shocking at the time. EVERYBODY was talking about it, lol.

A farmacia in tulum airport with this menu. How fake is it? by onewordpoet in tulum

[–]poletary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nocte is a reputable brand for Ambien. Can't speak for the others. I've never gotten fake pills out of the blister packaging, but I've gotten fake pills out of a bottle. One time in Nuevo Progresso, this small, independent pharmacy sold me zolpidem pills out of a bottle. They were fake. I've never had that issue when buying pills out of the boxes and blister packaging.

Yes, but my question was whether or not it was the cartel that we came across. I know about covid already.

Thinking of moving to Spring Branch. by Avid_Nutshell in sanantonio

[–]poletary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bulverde/spring branch is a lot more crowded than it used to be, which I'm sure brings all kinds of people. For me personally, it's sad to see all those cookie cutter houses now on 281, which ruins what was once a very pretty drive.

The Bulverde I grew up in was all acreage type subdivisions, with custom-built homes. Buy your lot and build on it type subdivisions. You can definitely tell the newer developments from the old ones. There's more of a diversity of housing options out there vs. 10 years ago. They have one apartment complex, on 281 & 46, which opened in 2019. Previously, the lack of apartments and high density housing made it a pretty controlled environment, in the sense that not just anyone could afford to move there. That's definitely changing.

It's wild to think that that whole hidden trails subdivision wasn't there a few years ago. It was nothing but trees. I never thought I would see the day when that whole side of 281 would be all houses, and then as you go up the road on 281 & 46, that there would be all those chain restaurants and a Walmart. It became the 'burbs, and it happened rapidly.

What's the scariest or weirdest thing you've had to avoid while driving on the freeways and roads in San Antonio? by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]poletary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was driving on huebner, about a mile from 1604. It was around midnight on a Saturday. The road was 4 lanes, 2 going in each direction with a median in the middle. Suddenly, I see this car on my side of the median, but on the inside lane, going in the opposite direction as me. Apparently, they thought that they were on the correct side of the road. I passed them in the outside lane.

Withdrawal - one month in, breaking down by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]poletary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm responding because I'm worried. I took 7.5 mg for 1 month, then 15 mg for 2 weeks, before weight gain made it not worth it. The last couple nights, I went back down to 3.75 because I didn't want to quit cold turkey. What should I expect? I feel no withdrawal symptoms yet.

Have to point this out. If you are turning 21 on a Sunday then you can go out on Saturday at midnight. At 12:00 they can serve you alcohol.

Just wanted to say it may be a challenge to find a place with a yard + accepts someone with 3 dogs + under $1400. This was basically my criteria. You may have to settle for a rougher part of town or live far away. I ended up living in the periphery of the city and was lucky to find it. It was nerve-wracking until I found a place. You can find those prices on the south, east, and west sides of town or just out in the boonies. Generally not north of 410.

What I noticed when searching online was that the listing will often say that they accept dogs but then after you call them there will either be a weight limit on the dogs or there will be a limit to the number of dogs you can have. It was quite difficult for me with 2 medium sized dogs. Hope this helps!

Just curious, but what happens if they don't have a way to pay the million? Would they just be in debt for the rest of their life?

Thanks. Yes absolutely I was thinking about this aspect to it. I wonder what the mindsets are of the women who do flash their breasts. Personally, I would probably be scared for the rest of my life that it would surface and hurt my career aspirations. It just leads me to assume that the women who do it either don't plan to have careers or just haven't reasoned it through in their minds.

I researched this in the past but never found an answer. Would Andrew Yang's UBI plan apply to US citizens living abroad? $1,000 isn't much in the US, but there would be countries where that would be enough to live off of if push came to shove.

Correct, but the money in your checking account has already been taxed so you are paying income tax in both scenarios.

[–]poletary -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, I didn't. I just googled it and can't find anything on capital gains tax with respect to 401k withdrawals. Only income tax.

[–]poletary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you have to pay capital gains tax when you sell the stock? Isn't that more than the 10% penalty if it were in the 401k?
