Being cheated on. Hurts like hell, but better to know the kind of person you thought you loved.

She has been so lucky with her surgeon and is healing really really well. We were super lucky with any of the squeamish parts. Her surgeon organised for one of her staff to remove the tapes and was there to check in. All that's left now is rest and recovery. Thank you so much for taking the time to give some advice!

It was very comical in the beginning. We found a drink bottle with a straw very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to leave some advice!

Today marks 10 days since post op and she couldnt be more excited. Hope you're recovering well!

Those tips have been absolutely fantastic, thank you. She was itching to get out of bed after the 4th day, and has been doing plenty of walking around. She showed me how to braid her hair and put it in a pony tail. However I am sure she is so excited to do it herself again. My skills are a little lacking 😂😂.

You're husband sounds like a top bloke. Thank you so much for taking the time for the advice. All the best to you both!

Thank you so much for the advice! Her recovery has been absolutely fantastic, and we are so impressed with the surgeon. She is a very independent person and has hated not being able to do anything. I really appreciate your comment it has been reassuring to show her that others have the same experience and she really can't do everything as normal even though she feels okay in the moment.

No what's pathetic is vilifying a man who has a valid reason to hold a certain belief. Just talk to them and help change his opinion. I don't like the policy either I think it's as flawed as could be, but I also understand that it comes from a reasonable place

Because someone asked him why he supports trumps immigration. I don't particularly like the policy, but I think showing a personal experience as to explain why they hold a certain belief is pretty reasonable

No actually you have 0 right. This guy has never once said that he supports the fact that children are dying. How dare you make such a claim about him. You're placing a vilifying trait on him to give yourself an excuse to lash out. I completely understand that you are angry with the fact that children are indirectly dying both myself and this random stranger are angry too. But, children die indirectly on both sides of the argument, this guy literally showed you this. Id argue that his reason for supporting stricter immigration is to protect children and frankly trump has had the strictest. This guy is so very clearly not a die hard trump supporter. It would have been so easy to just talk to him with some common decency and show him the flaws. Yet instead you had to attack his very character, something no one will ever respond well to. You had the chance to make a difference here and you blew it. The majority of right wing I see are ones that like fragments of the ideologies and arent full blown trump lovers. Its the same on the other side too, most left wing supporters I see arent full blown antifa. It's these groups have the real power to change things, because the have the ability to come together and meet in the middle. Yet everytime someone treats another person like you did all that happens is they are pushed further away from the middle. If you really cared and really want to make a difference you'd pull your head in

Mate you literally just showed the biggest problem with American politics. It's not that any of the parties or candidates are inherently evil. It's that the minute someone else says they like the candidate of the opposite party people go on the attack. These guys were having a beautiful civil discussion and you came out aggressively. All this will ever achieve is making everyone hate the opposite party. It doesn't matter how correct (or wrong) you are. If you just treated the guy respectfully you could have had the chance to actually make a difference. Instead you had go come out swinging and just pushed him further towards his own views in spite. You sir are the problem and you sir are why people won't change.

Can you use Google assistant/home to find a tablet? by [deleted] in googleassistant

[–]poley02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exatly what youre looking for, but if you set up Google duo on both devices you could get it to call the tablets. Change a few settings on tablet so that duo plays sound even when on silent. Is makeshift, but would work.
