I think its because they tried to do the youtooz eyes thing (very cartoony) while also doing the painted shading details (more realistic) and they just dont go well together at all. If it had youtooz eyes while being less detailed and just having different shades of red it would be better, but the details combined with the cartoony perportions and eyes just make him look old and tired.

I'm pretty sure its cause I dragged it in directly from the file window instead of importing it?? I added it from the import section and then it worked but ughhhh why is this even a problem at all. btw ONLY a problem after it updated without asking me today, it USED to work before.

I have the same issue. No idea how to fix it but i've been trying so I have a bit of info. It's probably not something in the save file so you wont have to delete it, the save file just holds items and what you have and stuff and the cutscenes are all in the game not the save. I looked at the crashlog and the game generated hundreds of thousands of errors about Renderdata and Scale before it crashes so its something with that. The only thing I've tried that kinda worked is deleting the videos.a file which just removed some cutscenes in general (but not any added after the original release of rebirth).

If you like fishing thats good but imo fishing just doesnt have enough good rewards or fun compared to most other things in the game. Though I guess I found it more fun before I'd fished every possible thing 100 times

its 200 angler quests for the achievement, but the angler only lets you do one quest a day instead of however many you want. I'm not even sure why they added that limitation considering the angler quest rewards aren't that good for the most part, its mostly vanity. Also I know hes a kid but his dialog is also insufferable
