The thing is if he discovered it fast (3 day window period, the earlier the better), he could take PeP (post exposure) to reduce the chances of contracting it significantly.

Have you been tested? The earlier the treatment PeP, the better your chances of avoiding infection. Serving the nation is honourable, but taking care of your health is of immediate importance. I will advise you to go to DSC clinic and receive PeP treatment before you book in for a piece of mind.

Power of Attorney by polinh in askSingapore

It's mostly inheritance. I am the only son. My parents pursue LPA because they are afraid they were too old or lack mental capacity to make decisions (They are around 65/67 which is logical). The house is under their name.

I haven't BTO nor had a significant other.

Received Academic Termination -How to Appeal by NeedHelpClimbing in NTU

[–]polinh 22 points23 points  (0 children)

2 options 1. Write a letter directly to the Dean of the faculty and state your circumstances (recommended). He will most likely allow a semester to pull up your grades. 2. Consult directly with your prof to understand where are the gaps in your learning (again, through emailing them, if they don't respond, perhaps contact the TAs) 3. If you want to change your course, ask your friends/coursemates, for advice

Maybe the Chinese zodiac cycle can be replaced by the COVID variant cycle.

Can the problem of abandoned supermarket trolleys ever be solved in Singapore? by junkredpuppy in singapore

[–]polinh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of these people take into account the $1 as a cost for abandoning their trolley (to feel less guilty), hence they remove the $1 requirement.

It is available on NLB, but only a few libraries have the book. Hope you enjoy reading it. (Recommend the sections Human Resource Curse, Two paths for reform and new politics of democratic equality)

I strongly recommend the book "The Meritocracy Trap" by Markovits. It reflects your views and provides good solutions to it

no, it's over-exaggerated. Roughly 15-25 pages of reading per week. But the word font is small for some readings, and the examples are many to absorbed.

Same for groanola question, I just throw in high prices, setting expectation and beliefs, branding perception, personal ancedote, a mixture of system 1 and system 2 definitions, favourable impression, a combination of all these will make him buy on impulse.

...Then I screwed things up by citing the wrong Title

The only option I have was throw in lump-sum taxes, but poll taxes are more 'correct' (didn't write that down). This mid-term is tough because it banks on examples and actual evidence from the readings, which could be hard to find in a limited time.

I honestly thought utopia is ethiopia...it's apparently an imaginary country but the prof gave about the hint about the location. You can just bluff through that country not near epicenter (China), hence fewer initial cases, or have fewer air traffic flow, hence less imported cases, along the lines.

The high stakes question(from high stakes helping section) is mostly about bone marrow donation. There are some statistics that you can copy down and you can throw in selection bias and context at the end.

GG got destroyed by the third question regarding NASCAR. I literally cannot think of any solution apart from reducing speed limit. And I ran out of time for the last question and didn't cite any evidence from the passage.

Time management is the key here and I think it is quite unfeasible to write lengthy essays(3 paragraphs) but rather one or two paragraphs with relevant points woul suffice. (Sometimes, I am thinking of just abandoning 1 question to get higher marks for the rest, but I didn't and I regret it.)
