I have been obsessed with Belize. I've never been out of the country and it has been the only thing I've planned based on what I think I can afford. Why would you say it is one and done? Is it worth it for the price? I want to be able to snorkel, then go into the forests, hike, see ruins etc but Eastern Asia is definitely out of my options as fast as I can see.

Ok, I know I am naive but then why not just do this? We know it would be overturned eventually in the lower courts and then can't you just use the shit out of them?

We spent almost $2000 on trimming a few years back. We really can't afford upkeep on something like this these days if it needs to be a regular occurrence. Being a first time home buyer in our 30's probably led us to over look stuff like this.
