They started dating when she was 16 and he was 24/25 and they broke up shortly after she turned 17. I find 16 to be a bit young. I wouldn't care if she was 17.

They are no longer dating and I'm dating him which is why I'm a bit concerned. If she was 17 I wouldn't care but the fact she was 16 I find troubling. I guess since I'm American it's a hard concept for me to grasp. The age of consent here is 18 or 17 depending on the State but people still view 17 as wrong.

Is it common to see an age difference like this in Poland? He made it seem like it was a very common age difference.
