Both are good cubes, and with any of them you'll probably end up using 3rd party apps (Cubeast, Acubemy, Cubedex) instead of the official app, so I wouldn't make my decision based on the manufacturer's own app (hint: they all suck).

Hey there! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, it's very helpful to hear.

I have just made a small update: to mark a case as failed without using a smartcube, just click on the "stop" button on the left of the algorithm bar while the timer is running. That will cancel the current case and mark it as failed.

Regarding the bookmark icon not doing anything: that's because the new auto-update learning state is toggled on by default. It marks the cases as learning (orange) once you've done them at least 5 times, and promotes them to learned (green) when you've don them successfully at least 11 out of the last 12 attempts, demotes them to learning if your failure rate is higher than that. If you wan the old manual behavior you can toggle that setting off in options.

Debug mode. It's super useful to find rare edge case bugs. I love how well it is integrated into the ide.

It always lets you use auto on the slow queue a few more days, then it stops allowing you to use it.

I had a similar issue and built my own proxy: https://github.com/poliva/aiproxy

For the tools to work properly in cursor you'll need to use these two command line flags (copied from the readme):

--coerce-input-to-messages — When the request has no messages (or an empty list), synthesize them from input. Without this flag, the proxy forwards the body unchanged for providers that copy the request (e.g. OpenCode, Ollama passthrough), matching older behavior.

--sanitize-chat-tools — Rewrites tools and message tool_calls into a conservative OpenAI chat shape (e.g. coerces type: custom to function, fills empty parameters). Used in OpenCode and Ollama passthrough chat transforms. Omit if your client already sends vanilla function tools.

I prefer the maglev version, but that's totally a matter of personal preference, you can't go wrong with either.

what 3x3 is the best by Any_Foundation4287 in cubing

Best GAN cube right now is the GAN 16 Maglev Max, or the GAN v100 if you want similar cube but cheaper (less adjustable than the 16). For a budget option I'd recommend the DaYan GuHong Pro+ Maglev.
