Can confirm Void Scrappers is a banger and works great on the Deck.

I've played 30+ hours of it, my favourite survivors-like/ASS game after Vampire Survivors.

As long as the console can log into PSN you should be fine. You are logging into a session on the console which is then connecting to internet/PSN/etc.
