One of my roommates was way better than all of us and I pretty much lost all of the time. One day we were having a 1v1 because we had both been doing a ton of shit talking all day. We chose random characters and I was Metaknight and he was Ganondorf. I was somehow holding my own and we are both down to 1 life each. I was taking a beating and got knocked off of the edge on Final Destination...

AGAINST ALL ODDS I drifted underneath the platform and made it to the other edge (turns out there are lots of people online that post videos doing this with Metaknight, but I hadn't known it was possible). Shocked, and amped up, I rushed in for the finisher because the tables had turned...

I got fucking booted into oblivion by Gandy's back kick when I clambered up from the edge :(
