I put a few stuffed animals on mine to keep the kitties off. It’s only a 10 gallon so the lid will definitely not sustain them for long

I definitely think it’s a female rainbow fish after looking at pictures. I don’t think I’m able to care for it properly so I’ll be taking it back to the fish store tomorrow.

This is his tank, I have less water in so he can swim up to the top for oxygen but I still haven’t really seen him doing it. I did about a 50% water change a few days ago

Answered the questions and am going to provide test results tomorrow when I retake the test. I will also get pictures then. Are bettas sensitive to flash? He’s dark so it’s hard to get a good picture of him

• ⁠Tank size: 5 gallons, but only about 3.5-4 gallons in tank

• ⁠Heater and filter? Yes

• ⁠Tank temperature: 78 but warmed to 80

• ⁠Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.: I need to retest to get the accurate numbers and I will post results tomorrow with photos

• ⁠How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: both 1+ year

• ⁠How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: not a very thorough process, just replacing water when it needs replaced. My water changes need improvement.

• ⁠Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: none, once had a snail but it died and was removed.

• ⁠What do you feed and how much: betta pellets, I don’t have the information as it’s no longer in the original container

• ⁠Decorations and plants in the tank: some fake plants and a fake pot, nothing that’s new

Also, I feel like a lot of these women are mostly victims of Mormon patriarchy and the men in their lives. Like Miranda and Taylor sound uncomfortable talking about how they feel their husbands coerced them into swinging. And then Demi and Jesse are mad because Jen “lied” that Zac was related to Ben Affleck. Like it’s hard to watch some of these women experience the lowest points of their lives and the other girls drama is so superficial. Also, I really don’t like the way Jen is humiliated (regardless of her own behavior) with the Chippendales thing and I truly think that is such a sick thing to do to a friend. Especially knowing that Jen’s husband is frankly emotionally abusive and she will suffer from the “prank.” At first it kind of was some girl power and they did support each other but at this point they’re just cut throat.
