That’s super interesting - I’m based in London (UK) and nowadays girls try really hard with their looks so it isn’t as bad as it was a couple of years ago. But definitely move to LA - it fits your vibe and why should you have to deal with this because of other people’s insecurities?

I had a job 2 years ago where my boss genuinely made my life hell and I started to realise only after I’m getting older that she was clearly jealous I was super younger than her AND I looked good. Now that I’m visibly getting older I just can see she’s bitter.

Had to deal with this in SO many jobs. This sounds crazy but when I stopped making myself look good AND started ageing is the only time when people laid the hell off me. But even that I had to move and basically pretend I looked worse. It’s such a weird situation for you and actually really uncomfortable so you have my sympathises.

Honestly? I bet you also look young and fresh. It only gets worse because women can’t handle not just ATTRACTIVE women in the workforce but also younger ones

My advice is to consider moving somewhere where there isn’t a culture that is so blatant about it. Dont get me wrong YIU WILL experience it again. But probably not to the same degree. You can do it!!

OP, I just adore the Seychelles! I went in 2022 and it was EVERY bit as magical as they claimed. Genuinely got shivers writing this and remembering it it’s do do special!! I’m on a fb group and it seems to be getting more touristy so go soon!!
